Never touched clay? Potter’s wheel looks intriguing? Haven’t had a clay class since school, and you’re ready to try again? Beginning wheel throwing will cover the basics of throwing: wedging, centering, opening, raising, forming, trimming and glazing. Novices or those who want a refresher are welcome. Firing, use of studio glazes and over 40 hours of studio time are included in your fee. Bring cone 10 clay to the first session.
Classes are ongoing and can be enrolled on any class date for as many weeks as you like. Please select the number of weeks you would like to enroll.

Weeks must be used sequentially with no interruption.
It is recommended for beginning students to sign up for 8 consecutive weeks of class.

Firing, use of studio glazes, personal storage space and over 50 hours* weekly of studio time are included in your class fee.

NOTE: Studio/course fees are non-refundable. Classes missed because of medical emergency may be applied to future course sessions. Make-up classes are not transferable and must be completed by the original student only.
