Welcome to the Romero House Ceramics Studio.

A few things to know about us:

  • Romero House is currently open from 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

  • Romero House Potters’ primary focus is education in the ceramic arts. We are a non-profit (501 C3)

  • A variety of classes and workshops are offered, including hand building, throwing, tile making, sculpture, and open studio hours for all students.

  • Open studio hours are included in your class fee.

  • Studio members may participate in the Tucson Museum of Art’s two annual Artisans’ Markets, one in the spring and one in the fall. Additionally, members and current students may apply to exhibit work in the studio’s Mudroom Gallery.

  • Student Rates: If you are 16 years or older and enrolled in a degree or certificate-granting program, you qualify for student rates. These rates are 25% off the normal rate for either classes or open studio time. We require proof of current enrollment when you come to the studio. The annual membership remains $50 for everyone.
